    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **CNC/ Manual Machinists** for projects located in **Salt Lake City, UT** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **$25-40/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Set up and operate both manual and CNC lathes/mills

    + Interpret and work from engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications

    + Plan sequence of machining operations and determine the best methods

    + Measure and mark material for cutting/shaping

    + Check and inspect output using manual measuring tools (OD mic, ID mic, calipers, etc.)

    + Ensure work meets quality control and standard operating procedures

    + Perform calculations for true position in both inch and metric

    + Review and follow instructions, drawings, or samples to meet project requirements

    Requirements

    + **Minimum 3 years of CNC/manual machining experience in a job shop environment**

    + **High school diploma or GED required**

    + **Proficient in G-code; SolidCAM experience is a plus**

    + **Experience working with FANUC controls**

    + **Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and quality systems**

    + **Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles**

    + **Ability to lift up to 50 pounds**

    + **Strong verbal and written communication skills**

    + **Must be results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-changing environment**
