Role Summary:
The Manager, Total Rewards Design – AI Enablement leads the development and execution of innovative Total Rewards design strategies that align with organizational goals. This role uses AI and automation tools to build solutions that enhance the speed and precision of compensation design delivery—managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality Total Rewards design solutions.
The manager drives continuous process improvements and ensures effective communication throughout all phases of Total Rewards program development. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and adaptability are essential to successfully guide compensation design initiatives that support business objectives and improve associate and leader experience. This position requires a commitment to operational excellence and strategic alignment.
About the Team:
The Enterprise Total Rewards Design Team addresses Walmart’s complex compensation and benefits design challenges across segments and functions by simplifying processes and delivering scalable solutions. Utilizing AI and automation, the team enhances delivery speed, accuracy, and reduces friction for associates and leaders. With expertise in collaboration, analytics, and stakeholder management, the team transforms insights into actionable Total Rewards strategies. Their focus on sustainable compensation design supports business objectives and drives continuous improvement, ensuring effective management of Total Rewards programs and fostering adaptability in a dynamic environment.
What you'll do...
+ Lead Total Rewards design projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Total Rewards strategy.
+ Develop AI-powered agents and solutions using tools like VS Code, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot to support Total Rewards partners with tasks such as market benchmarking, pay structure design, analysis, proposal development, ad hoc reviews, and costing.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compensation design solutions that enhance associate experience and operational efficiency.
+ Oversee Total Rewards program lifecycle management, driving continuous improvement and innovation in compensation design processes.
+ Analyze data and stakeholder feedback to inform design and pay-related decisions, optimizing program outcomes.
+ Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery and alignment of Total Rewards design initiatives.
+ Champion AI adoption within Total Rewards to modernize compensation analysis and design.
