    Work Environment:

    At Rain for Rent, in-person work at our offices and/or branch locations is a top priority because it allows us to more effectively collaborate, connect, and builds a workplace culture that drives our continued success. This role requires onsite presence at a Rain for Rent office and/or branch location. Except for limited circumstances, remote and/or hybrid options are not offered at this time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Align learning and development strategies with broader talent and business goals to drive organizational performance.

    + Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide training programs tailored to business needs.

    + Oversee the full lifecycle of learning initiatives, including needs assessment, instructional design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

    + Develop and execute comprehensive leadership development programs that support high-potential talent, managerial effectiveness, and professional growth.

    + Develop a cost-effective strategy to deliver training programs and materials across the organization and evaluate ROI on training costs.

    + Use data and performance metrics to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve learning outcomes.

    + Partner with senior business leaders and HR to identify skills gaps and development priorities across departments.

    + Promote a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset, and inclusive leadership by embedding development opportunities into everyday work.

    + Deploy a variety of learning modalities (e.g., workshops, e-learning, coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training) to meet the diverse learning styles and business needs.

    + Stay current with industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective learning solutions.

    + Manage external vendors and leverage digital learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and leadership assessment tools to enhance program delivery.

    + Demonstrate strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.

    + Serve as a champion for employee development across the organization, advocating for initiatives that foster engagement, retention, and career growth.

    + Other duties as assigned in support of the operation.

    Estimated Salary base Pay: $100,000-$120,000 annually

    Qualifications

    Experience

    Preferred

    + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or similar areas of study is required. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in learning and development with at least three (3) years in a lead or supervisory role is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered. An active CPTD certificate from the Association of Talent Development is highly desired.
