This is a full-time, temporary position lasting up to 12 months.
The Court of Administrative Hearings (CAH) is seeking to hire a Scheduler in our St. Paul office. CAH is the largest of three Executive Branch Courts with over 75 full-time equivalents located in St. Paul and Duluth. CAH, with 34 judges, is comparable in size to the Ramsey County District Court with 32 judges. CAH has exclusive, bench trial-level jurisdiction in hearings for over 250 state agencies and local units of government in over 200 unique areas of administrative law and is Minnesota's workers' compensation trial court. CAH renders justice through fair, timely and impartial hearings and high-quality dispute resolution services.
This position exists to ensure all legal proceedings on the workers' compensation (WC) and administrative law (AD Law) court calendars are scheduled for the Court of Administrative Hearings (CAH) in a timely manner.
Working as a Scheduler you will:
+ **Review, determine, and schedule all State of Minnesota WC and AD Law cases on the court's calendar for metropolitan and out-of-town locations.**
+ **Provide accurate responses to phone inquiries, hearing and conference matters, and inform parties as to office policies and procedures.**
+ **Analyze computer data in Outlook, C-Track and FOCUS case management systems in order to answer case status questions.**
+ **Coordinate the implementation of record retention schedules on WC and AD Law hearings and files.**
+ **Process all WC and AD Law hearing requests.**
This is a hybrid work opportunity; employees must work a minimum of five (5) days in the office per pay period (every 2 weeks).
Minimum Qualifications

+ Word processing skills sufficient to accurately analyze and process customer and internal transactions within multiple case management systems.
+ Data entry skills sufficient to review and schedule proceedings with efficiency and accuracy.
+ Knowledge of or ability to learn databases sufficient to create, modify, manipulate, analyze and retrieve data.
+ Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers on the phone, through e-mail, and other written correspondence in a professional manner.
+ Fluent English (speaking, writing, and reading).
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong organizational and planning skills in order to identify priorities and meet timelines with limited supervision.
+ Ability to work under pressure and prioritize job responsibilities.
+ Ability to quickly learn new software.
+ Proficient in Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements
This is a sedentary position. It requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file folders and laptops or accounting boxes. May need to maintain a stationary position for long periods of time while carrying out job duties.
