    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

     

    The Senior Project Manager serves as a production and project management lead for NBC Entertainment Creative Marketing. This role oversees the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets across but not limited to, paid advertising, linear promotion, organic and paid social media, OOH, and digital distribution platforms (Peacock, Press, Affiliate Marketing, NBC app, VOD, Hulu, Roku, Apple TV, etc.).

     

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned, solutions-oriented leader with strong project management skills, and a collaborative mindset. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a passion for innovation, and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment across internal teams and external partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Marketing Campaign Oversight:

     

    Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex marketing campaigns, aligning creative output with strategic goals, timelines and budgets.

     

    + Cross-Functional Leadership:

     

    Partner with internal stakeholders (Creative Directors, Producers, Designers, Editorial, Finishing, Paid Media, Social, Digital, Legal, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless development and execution across all asset types: video, digital, social, print, motion graphics, and audio.

     

    + Creative Operations Management:

     

    Own and optimize workflows, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects. Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

     

    + Stakeholder Communication:

     

    Serve as the primary liaison between creative teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity on deliverables, priorities, and feedback loops. Escalate and resolve issues swiftly.

     

    + Budget & Vendor Management:

     

    Lead budget forecasting, tracking, reconciliation and actualization. Manage contracts, onboarding, negotiations, and compliance with NBCU policies and security protocols.

     

    + Project Systems & Tools:

     

    Set up and manage campaign assets in project management platforms (Air Table, Basecamp, etc.), ensuring accurate tracking of requests, assignments, and delivery milestones.

     

    + Legal & Rights Compliance:

     

    Coordinate with Legal, Music Rights, Talent Relations, and other departments to ensure all assets meet legal and clearance requirements.

     

    + Quality Assurance:

     

    Oversee final QC of all creative assets, ensuring technical accuracy, brand consistency, and proper approvals before release.

     

    + Shoot & Photo Coordination:

     

    Collaborate with Shoots and Photo Teams to scope, schedule, and manage gallery and marketing shoots, including asset distribution and approvals.

     

    + Workflow Innovation:

     

    Partner with Post, Operations, Design, Editorial, Motion Graphics, Digital and Engineering to refine and reimagine workflows that support scalable, efficient creative production.

     

    + Mentorship & Team Development:

     

    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.

     

    + Acquisition of Show Footage, Stock Footage, Photos, etc.

     

    Oversee and manage the acquisition of show footage, talent photos, stock footage, etc. required for the execution of promotion assets in an efficient and expeditiously

     

    + Special Projects:

    Lead or contribute to high-priority initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned

    + Approvals:

     

    Acquire and Track all necessary approvals, talent and otherwise for all promotional materials

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Minimum 5–7 years of project management experience in entertainment marketing, creative production, or agency environments.

    + Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-platform campaigns in TV, film, or streaming.

    + Strong background in video post-production, digital media, and creative operations.

    + Bachelor’s Degree required.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    + Hybrid position; minimum four days in-office required (subject to change).

    + Must have work authorization to work in the United States.

    Additional Requirements:

    + This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    + Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 (bonus eligible)
