Global Technical Sales & Specification Manager
The Global Technical Sales & Specification Manager will be responsible for driving company growth by ensuring our products are specified and approved on key client Approved Manufacturers Lists (AMLs). This role requires a strong technical background, proven experience in specification sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships with decision-makers across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will combine deep product and application knowledge with strategic business development skills to influence standards, drive adoption, and expand market presence worldwide.
**Salary Information:** $131,000 - $189,200 Per Year plus Bonus

Your Challenge:
+ Lead the global strategy for securing company products on Approved Manufacturers Lists (AMLs), vendor databases, and project specifications.
+ Provide technical presentations, product training, and specification guidance to major clients.
+ Collaborate with regional sales teams and Representatives to identify opportunities, align specification efforts, and ensure execution of global strategies at the local level.
+ Monitor competitor activities, industry standards, and project trends to proactively position the company for inclusion in specifications.
+ Work closely with product management, R&D, and marketing to align product features and certifications with specification requirements.
+ Work closely with the Project Pursuit team and Sales organization to ensure alignment around targeted projects from FEED and Pre-FEED stages
+ Lead global AML/ Frame agreement pursuit activities with end users. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Representatives to ensure continuity and compliance with established Frame Agreements.
+ Represent the company at trade shows to increase visibility and influence technical standards.
Your Expertise:
+ Strong knowledge of specification sales and the process of securing Approved Manufacturer status.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence technical and commercial decision-makers.
+ Ability to navigate complex, global customer organizations and build long-term strategic partnerships.
+ Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings, technical standards, and product certifications.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously.
+ High level of cultural awareness and ability to work effectively across diverse global markets.
+ Proficiency in CRM tools, specification tracking software, and MS Office Suite.
+ Willingness to travel internationally (40–60%).
+ Ability to create strong relations and collaborate cross functionally to achieve results.
