    What You Will Do:

    Raytheon Technologies has an excellent technical lead opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer with a background in radar systems and electronic warfare technologies.

    As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’re the technical interface both internally and externally for the products you lead, and your responsibilities will include:

    + Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines

    + Proactively and efficiently resolving issues that may arise during production, testing and integration.

    + Supporting Advanced Airborne Systems products

     

    This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

    + Experience leading and/or supporting Development, Production and/or Test of electrical sub-systems (including antenna, power supply or REX-receiver/exciter) in a manufacturing environment

    + Experience leading technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination and/or preparation of detailed technical team reports

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Experience performing and supporting RCCA investigations

    + Working knowledge of engineering support to material purchasing for test equipment and supplies

    + Experience leading and coordinating across multiple functions and/or engineering disciplines

    + Ability to understand and interpret contract requirements, program schedule, and cost data

    + Experience mentoring and developing junior team members

    + Ability to foster a collaborative team environment, while motivating the team to execute the program schedule

    The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
