The **Analyst, Change Management** , provides support of the IT Change Management Process. This individual assesses Information Technology Requests for Change to T+L Co. technology systems, assesses the risk and impact of change, and communicates impact of high risk and emergency changes to business and technology leadership, and follows up to validate completed changes are successfully documented and closed.
This individual possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, assertiveness, independence, and familiarity with IT Service Management and Service Delivery concepts.
How You'll Shine:
+ Assess each Request for change for completeness and accuracy as defined by Change Management Policy, validate impact against the Configuration Management Database, route those changes to the appropriate Change Approval Board, and report results back to business and information Technology leadership
+ Documents, Identifies and rejects incomplete Requests for Change.
+ Gathers and disseminates change information and participates in Change Approval Board Meetings.
+ Follows up on outstanding CAB Approvals or outstanding open Requests for Change.
+ Support of other T+L Co. Information Technology Service Management Functions including Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Service Level Management as needed
Travel Requirements:
+ Travel approximates 1%-5% from the primary work site.
What You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience in related field.
+ ITIL certification is preferred.
+ Basic understanding of ITIL Change Management processes.
+ Ability to take limited data and formulate decisions in a fast-paced, complex technology environment.
+ Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
+ Experience with one or more IT Service Management platforms (HEAT, Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
+ Excellent customer service
+ 3 years’ experience in operating a Change Management Process
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Business Productivity Tools.
+ Familiarity with common IT Change Management frameworks (ITIL, Agile, DevOps, CICD)
+ Ability to absorb information and quickly adapt to changing operating conditions.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills balanced with the ability to explain complex concepts in common language.
+ Ability to tailor message to senior technology and business leadership.
+ 3 years’ experience in an Information Technology Analyst, Operations, Service Management or Service Delivery role, preferably within a large enterprise.
+ Exposure to navigating large Enterprise Suppliers such as Cisco, Oracle, and Microsoft.
