    Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician provides supportto Plant Operations in repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant

     

    This is a 3rd Shift position, with work hours 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to the faulty component under theinstruction of the Maintenance Manager.

    + Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipmentunder the instruction of the Maintenance manager.

    + Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components ofproduction equipment.

    + Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

    + Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA

    + Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.

    + Complete all required reporting and documentation.

    What We're Looking For

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

    + Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronicsystems a preferred

    + Ability to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints todetermine problem root causes and implement corrective actions.

    + Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, andLasers are a plus.

    + Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in positions that require bending and stretching whileperforming maintenance tasks

    + Strong Computer Skills

    + Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation

    + All other duties as assigned
