Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Billing Manager** to join our team! In this role you will get to supervises a team within the billing department, typically responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Guides and manages a billing team, involved with daily operations.
+ Supervises onsite and/or remote staffing and workflow needs.
+ Provides human resources (HR) related guidance to billing team members and completes annual reviews of staff.
+ Assists with managing electronic billing submission portals; manages resolution of rejections and short payments.
+ Interfaces directly with business and operations teams; serves as the initial point of contact for billing concerns.
+ Collaborates with information technology (IT) team members to review, develop, and/or address system issues.
+ Prepares, distributes, revises, and coordinates billing approval process; finalizes invoices for all contract types.
+ May assist the Client Support Team with resolving billing issues to improve accounts receivable collections.
+ Establishes procedures, routines, and related documentation regarding billing and contract maintenance.
+ Troubleshoots billing errors, reconciling differences between billed and cost amounts.
+ Identifies improvements that streamline the billing process while following all corporate compliance practices.
+ Oversees unbilled cost reviews for lower-level Billing Coordinators.
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

+ Advanced knowledge of contract provisions regarding client invoicing requirements and payment processes
+ Ability to guide and lead a team to success
+ Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to interpret financial data and recognize trends and patterns
+ Ability to understand complex budget and client invoicing
+ Advanced math skills
+ Effective strategic and critical thinking skills
+ Knowledge of billing-related systems and methods to complete daily tasks and improve billing processes
+ Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Advanced organizational and multitasking skills
+ Ability to stay abreast of emerging related technology
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
+ Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field (or equivalent work experience)
+ 8+ years of related billing experience and
+ 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
