    Every day, our Hemodialysis Technicians deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the Hemodialysis department.

    Positions details:

    + **Location:** Winter Haven Hospital – Winter Haven, Florida

    + **Status:** Full Time

    + **Shift:** 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

    + Every other weekend requirement

    + **On Call:** No

    + Always in person

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma, GED or higher

    + Hemodialysis Technician Program with didactic training and 250-hour externship clinical experience

    + 6-months experience in Acute Care or Outpatient Hemodialysis department

    + BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

    + **Preferred Certification:** Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT)

    The **Hemodialysis Technician** responsibilities and skills:

    + Function as part of the hemodialysis team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patient.

    + Provide patient care under the direct visual supervision of a registered nurse.

    + Set up and primes equipment (as directed by the supervising nurse) for renal replacement therapies.

    + Initiate renal replacement according to prescribed physician orders.
