    This is an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in our laboratory in Plano, TX.

     

    3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am. There is a 15% shift differential for 3rd shift.

     

    + Set up and operate test equipment for client projects; adapt setups as needed based on engineering instructions.

    + Review samples and technical documents (blueprints, schematics, datasheets) to ensure accurate testing.

    + Follow defined test plans, evaluate performance, and record results in reports.

    + Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of lab equipment.

    + Communicate with customers and engineers during setup and testing to clarify methods and results.

    + Recommend improvements for equipment design and testing processes.

    + Work independently within defined guidelines, reporting data and observations to engineering management.

    + Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

    + Vocational training or a degree in HVAC.

    + Universal EPA certification.

    + Strong electrical aptitude.

    + Prior experience working with residential HVAC preferred.

    + Ability to work onsite full time.
