• Behavioral Health Therapist - Inpatient

    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at **St Joseph’s Women’s & St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital!**

     

    This is an exciting opportunity to work with a very niche patient population. You will be providing therapy services for parents of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In addition, you will be providing therapy to pediatric patients, ages 5-17, currently in the hospital with cardiac issues, with their families.

    This Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for:

    + Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as provide individual and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient.

    + Conducts case management activities as well as discharge planning and maintains appropriate documentation.

    + Provides appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services and is knowledgeable about community resources.

    + Some Marketing and Public Relations events relative to these populations.

    Position details:

    + **Location:** St Joseph's Women's and Children's Hospitals- Tampa, FL

    + **Status:** Full time, Exempt

    + **Schedule:** Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

    + **Weekend Requirement:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    Required Certification/License:

    + Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + **Florida License:** LCSW (Social Work), LMHC (Mental Health, LMFT (Marriage and Family)

    Required Education:

    + Masters Degree – Psychology, Social Work or Related Field

    Required Experience:

    + 2 years – Clinical Related

    Preferred Experience:

    + 2 years – Post License

    + **Patient population:** pediatric patients/cardiac, pediatric patients/oncology, NICU, high risk OB
