Chemistry is the newest degree program in the Department of Natural Sciences and offers three undergraduate degrees: a BS, a BA, and a BS with teacher certification in Chemistry. As an instructional faculty member of the Chemistry program at a rapidly growing, aspirational university, faculty are expected to actively engage in chemistry curriculum development, building the chemistry program in a way that leads to ACS accreditation, student success initiatives, and recruitment activities. Teaching responsibilities will include lecture and laboratory instruction in organic chemistry as well as entry-level chemistry courses.
