Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in women’s health technology? Join our Breast & Skeletal Health division in Newark, DE as a **Senior Electrical Engineer** and play a critical role in developing next-generation medical devices that support better patient outcomes.
About the Role:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, and evaluate electrical components and processes for our innovative breast and skeletal health products. You’ll be responsible for the physical layout of printed circuit boards, translating electronic schematics into reliable, manufacturable board designs, and ensuring compliance with performance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop a deep understanding of our products and their clinical use to design and develop PCB and wiring schemes for advanced health systems.
+ Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams including electrical, field service, manufacturing, mechanical, compliance, reliability, and software engineering.
+ Represent Electrical Engineering by demonstrating leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication.
+ Lead and perform technical design activities such as analysis, troubleshooting, and CAD schematic development for electrical assemblies and PCBs.
+ Create and maintain libraries in CAD tools to streamline PCB design.
+ Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using systematic approaches and provide effective solutions across teams.
+ Select hardware, electronic, and electro-mechanical components to meet specifications and compliance requirements.
+ Develop and document electrical test fixtures, prototypes, and test control apparatus.
+ Collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure designs and components meet medical device quality standards.
+ Generate and update design documentation, specifications, engineering test procedures, and change notices using electronic product lifecycle management systems.
+ Ensure all design and fabrication methods adhere to quality, electronic, PCB, and compliance standards.
+ Track project schedules and progress, report on success factors, and highlight risks or resource gaps.
+ Identify and implement improvements in product quality, performance, manufacturing efficiency, and cost.
+ Contribute to CAPA, VIP, cost reduction, EOL, and other cross-functional projects.
+ Mentor junior engineers and be a change agent for daily improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (2–5 years’ experience preferred)
+ Master’s degree (1–3 years’ experience) or PhD (0–1 years’ experience) also considered
+ Strong experience in PCB and wiring design, electronic circuit schematics, and CAD tools
+ Solid understanding of medical device quality and regulatory standards
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal guidance
+ Collaborative team player with a passion for driving improvement and mentoring others

The annualized base salary range for this role is $97,600 - $152,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
