Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Assemblers to join their dynamic team. As an Assemblers, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Assemblers
**Location:** Jamaica, NY
**Pay Range:** $16.50 - $18.00
**Shift:** 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
What's the Job?
+ Follow verbal instructions to assemble mirror components, arms, and harnesses for fleet vehicles and trucks.
+ Communicate with team leads or supervisors regarding damaged or unusable components.
+ Work independently and collaboratively within an assembly team to meet production goals.
+ Reference engineering drawings and assembly instructions accurately based on provided samples.
+ Use quality checklists to ensure products meet company standards and track production progress using software (Epicor).
What's Needed?
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to speak and understand English.
+ Reliable and punctual attendance.
+ Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
+ Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate all areas of the facility safely.
