As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol the assigned location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming experience for all visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support location operations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and/or directing visitors as needed.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of the retail environment and reporting any irregularities.

+ Collaborate with store and Allied Universal staff to address security-related concerns and contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or security license is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
