As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location using a vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.

+ Monitor the premises for security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate authorities and/or supervisor.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site guidelines.

+ Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while upholding security-related protocols.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
