Our client, a leading organization in the communications industry, is seeking a Satellite Software Development Engineer - Onsite to join their team. As a Satellite Software Development Engineer - Onsite, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Satellite, Networks, and Security teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Satellite Software Development Engineer - Onsite

**Location:** Seattle, WA

What's the Job?

+ Design and implement communications components, applications, and services.

+ Partner with satellite, networks, and security engineering teams to develop integrated solutions.

+ Design components, services, and relevant data models to support system functionalities.

+ Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software for Kuiper.

+ Work on initiatives building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development.

What's Needed?

+ 4+ years of professional software development experience.

+ 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

+ Proficiency in programming with at least one software language, especially Java.

+ Experience managing Java SDKs, AWS development, API design, and JSON.

+ Knowledge of AWS Cloud native skills, API creation, RESTful web services, and API Gateway.
