As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, checking credentials, and assisting visitors and staff with professionalism and courtesy. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.

+ Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to assist in maintaining authorized access only.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, working collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal management.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the facility or on the perimeter.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of all screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.

+ Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and visitors to promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
