What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by site, with a focus on the unique requirements of the aerospace and defense industry.

+ Observe and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining the integrity of security-related procedures.

+ Assist in the enforcement of site-specific policies and access control protocols as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
