What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the premises.

+ Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with entry procedures and provide directions as needed while adhering to site-specific policies.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence at access points.

+ Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols for emergency response.

+ Document all access-related incidents, observations, and/or interactions in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

+ Communicate promptly with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding any access control concerns.

+ Support the overall security-related operations by conducting regular and/or random patrols of access points and perimeter areas as directed.

+ Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals with site policies or directions.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
