What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for all personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

+ Monitor closed-circuit television and alarm systems to identify irregular or unusual activity within the chemical and petrochemical environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by clearly communicating site-specific policies and responding to inquiries and concerns.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed and assist with evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures when necessary.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
