As a **Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full Time** in **Beltsville, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling residential areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible throughout the location, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor for unusual activity or emergencies and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, assisting residents and coordinating with emergency services when appropriate.

+ Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance needs discovered during patrols.

+ Maintain a professional presence while interacting with individuals on the property, addressing questions or concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
