As an Access Control Officer at a prestigious residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor access points and verify the credentials of residents, guests, and vendors according to site procedures.

+ Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities within the residential community by maintaining a visible presence.

+ Provide customer service to residents and visitors by addressing questions, giving directions, and assisting with security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to observe and report irregularities.

+ Report any security-related issues or maintenance concerns noticed during patrols to the appropriate parties.

+ Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
