What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a security-conscious atmosphere.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or hazards encountered during patrols within the educational facilities.

+ Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and information, maintaining a helpful and approachable presence.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or drills.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
