Description
We are seeking a Technical Content Manager to serve as a bridge between our content contributors, technical teams, and customers. This role combines technical acumen with content expertise to ensure our content channels effectively serves both human users and AI systems while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and relevance.
The TCX Blogs team owns technical blog channels, such as the AWS Big Data Blog, AWS Database Blog, and the AWS Artificial Intelligence Blog. Technical blogs are grounded in customer use cases and provide actionable next steps and solutions for customers. A blog post serves to educate or inspire customers, often tying together multiple AWS services and specific customer use cases to provide a more complete, or niche, solution than other AWS content channels.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical skills with content management expertise and has a passion for creating value through high-quality technical content. You'll collaborate with blog channel owners, solutions architects, engineers, technical writers, and industry thought leaders to curate and publish impactful technical blog posts using our content management system. You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and delivering externally-facing technical content that drives meaningful engagement and champions customer needs.
Key job responsibilities
* Act as the primary human reviewer for technical content submitted by various business contributors, evaluating content for technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and customer relevance.
* Curate content to optimize discoverability and utility for both customers and LLM systems.
* Ensure content directly addresses specific customer jobs-to-be-done.
* Partner with technical teams to report content system issues and participate in solution testing.
* Monitor and analyze content performance metrics for assigned service verticals, using data to identify and drive improvements and enhancements to ensure content is aligned to technical content strategies at AWS.
* Own an area of content for the business, maintaining hands-on technical skills to effectively test and validate procedures, evaluate customer scenarios from a practical perspective, verify the accuracy of content through direct testing, and provide feedback to content contributors.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital content management, communications, or content strategy experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working across teams and influencing teams that are not your own
- Experience in problem solving and data analytics
- Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage and publish high-quality content
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies
- Demonstrated experience in content quality assurance and optimization
- Experience working with AI/ML systems and understanding their content requirements
- Strong relationship management and communication abilities
- Proven track record of improving content performance and user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience planning, managing, and delivering customer-focused documentation across multiple teams
- Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent
- Experience with LLM training data and content requirements
- Knowledge of content analytics and performance measurement
- Familiarity with content governance frameworks
- Understanding of SEO principles and practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $178,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
