Description
The North American Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement (SSOE) team is seeking a driven, experienced Sales Operations Lead for the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Segment. The candidate for this role will be a strategic thought partner in shaping the trajectory of the business. They will be able to transform data into compelling narratives and help drive our next phase of growth through operational excellence and innovative thinking.
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who loves to dive deep into data, ask questions, and uncover insights. They are quick to roll up their sleeves to solve problems and look around corners to better understand what we don’t see. This position works cross-functionally with several stakeholders supporting the extended Enterprise Sales organization, including Business Development, Marketing, Professional Services, and the Partner team. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as across other geographies. The “OneTeam” will look to the person in this role to ground them in data and steer them in a strategic direction.

• Serve as trusted business partner to sales leadership
• Leverage data to tell stories about the business, articulating key patterns, trends, and opportunities
• Influence and help define the go-to-market strategy
• Work cross functionally to execute strategic priorities
• Drive rhythm of business activities
• Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
A day in the life
As a key stakeholder in the business, this person will partner closely with sales leadership to help the organization execute against a set of strategic priorities and go-to-market plans. They will drive critical business activities such as Annual Planning, Forecasting, Operational Strategy, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other sales performance processes.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience developing and implementing systems and tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, sales force automation or equivalent
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
