• Electrical Repair Technician

    Our client, a leader in medical device repair and maintenance, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the KCI Repair Services department supporting the repair and maintenance of medical VAC equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Repair Technician

    **Location:** San Antonio, TX

    **Pay Range:** $22

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment.

    + Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to customer delivery.

    + Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.

    + Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related repair work in a manufacturing or technical environment.

    + Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.

    + Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

    + Willingness to undergo a fitness test to meet physical demands of the role.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Associates degree in electrical or related electrical field
