• Inventory Handler/Material Mover- Pipeline

    Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Inventory Handler/Material Mover to join their team. As a Inventory Handler/Material Mover, you will be part of the inventory department supporting production and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Inventory Handler/Material Mover

    **Location:** Jamaica, NY

     

    Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00

     

    **Shift:** 1st Shift 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

     

    2nd Shift 2:30 PM-11:00 PM (Mon-Fri)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Implement and maintain systems for efficient material handling and storage.

    + Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks.

    + Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders.

    + Prepare finished materials for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, and loading products.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of related experience in inventory control or material handling.

    + Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

    + Experience with data entry and inventory management software systems such as Epicor.

    + Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational and time management abilities.
