Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be part of the Production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Fabrication Technician

**Location:** Jamaica, NY

**Pay Range:** $17.50 - $22.00 (depending on experience)

**Shift:** 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

2nd shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Mon-Fri)

What's the Job?

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Measure, cut, and shape materials such as metal, plastic, and wood using saws, drills, grinders, and other tools.

+ Assemble components and inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications, maintaining safety standards throughout.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

+ Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

+ Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.

+ Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual lifting of up to 50 pounds.

+ Comfortable navigating manufacturing areas and working in a fast-paced environment.
