Job Title: Construction Project Manager IIIJob Description

As a Construction Project Manager III, you will oversee site-level project management for Data Center projects, ensuring they are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will manage the Type F Build, network, and retrofit projects, supporting all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, and budget. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners, on-site contractors, connectivity installers, and other stakeholders to deliver new Data Center capacity that meets standards for quality and predictability.

Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day activities with General Contractors and Telecomm Partners.

+ Drive solutions to preserve business unit goals and KPIs.

+ Serve as the point of contact for external partners and General Contractors.

+ Provide input into constructability and assist in project schedule creation and maintenance.

+ Escalate key issues for coordination with Campus Construction Management and Facilities Operations Project Management.

+ Demonstrate strengths in project management, problem-solving, partnership, leadership, and behavioral skills.

+ Navigate complexities of large-scale data center builds with significant capital expenditure.

+ Work closely with tenured Delivery team members for onboarding and guidance on systems and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.

+ Experience in managing large-scale projects ($100M+).

+ Field experience in commercial construction (Data Center, Airports, Mission Critical, Oil, Gas, Chemical, or similar industries).

+ Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud.

+ Project engineering experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

+ Familiarity with construction management software.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at the Madison County, AL Data Center located in Huntsville, AL. The duration of the role is 12 months, working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Toney, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
