Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer who can effectively read and interpret electrical schematics and is familiar with control systems and instrumentation. Strong documentation and reporting abilities are essential, along with a commitment to safety compliance in high-voltage environments.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical commissioning in industrial environments.
+ Troubleshoot and validate electrical systems.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics.
+ Ensure safety compliance in high-voltage environments.
+ Document and report commissioning processes and outcomes effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with GM plant installations.
+ Proficiency in electrical commissioning.
+ Ability to work extended hours and multiple shifts.
+ Journeyman or Apprentice-level electrical background
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior GM Lake Orion experience.
+ Willingness to work holidays and 50+ hours/week.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
+ OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
Work Environment
The position is based at the GM Lake Orion facility, an industrial setting characterized by a fast-paced and safety-focused environment. The role requires flexibility to work multiple shifts, including extended hours and holidays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lake Orion, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
