Medical Assistant – High-End Plastic Surgery Practice
Schedule: 4 days/week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays + 1 additional weekday)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27–$30/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a polished and personable Medical Assistant to join a prestigious plastic surgery practice in Midtown Manhattan. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa environments who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform standard medical assistant duties including patient intake, vitals, and phlebotomy
+ Schedule patient appointments across multiple platforms with accuracy and efficiency
+ Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless, personalized patient experience
+ Support physicians with clinical and administrative tasks
+ Coordinate patient arrangements and follow-up communications
Required Qualifications
+ Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification
+ 1–2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
+ Prior experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical spa environments
+ Proficiency in phlebotomy and patient care
+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
+ Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication
+ Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with high-end clientele
+ Team-oriented and committed to long-term growth in the role
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with multi-platform scheduling systems
+ Energetic, friendly, and engaging personality
+ Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a dynamic environment
Work Environment
This role is based in a high-end plastic surgery office in Midtown Manhattan, offering a luxurious and professional setting. The team is collaborative, patient-focused, and committed to excellence in care and service.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
