Job Title: Civil Engineer/Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage land development and infrastructure projects across various sectors including education, entertainment, retail, industrial, warehousing, residential, and public infrastructure. This role offers a hybrid working model from our Scottsdale, Arizona office, with opportunities to work remotely or from our Grand Rapids office.
Responsibilities
+ Plan, design, and manage the execution of civil engineering projects, such as land/site development, roads, water supply systems, sewer collection systems, and drainage systems.
+ Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, specifications, drawings, and reports.
+ Coordinate and communicate with internal and external parties, such as clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, and public agencies.
+ Monitor and control the progress, quality, and performance of the projects, and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
+ Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and manage changes and conflicts.
+ Conduct site inspections to check compliance with design drawings and provide technical support and solutions to field staff and contractors.
+ Lead and motivate a project team, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional growth.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methods, and tools.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, preferably in the land development sector.
+ Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and large-scale projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
+ Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
+ Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to travel to project sites as required.
+ Proven experience in commercial land development.
+ Experience in site development and drainage design.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
