    Job Title: NPI Process EngineerJob Description

     

    Join a neuromodulation company focused on transforming the standard of care for urgency urinary incontinence with our innovative eCoin technology. We are seeking an NPI Process Engineer to advance the development of the next-generation eCoin. As part of the R&D team, you will play a crucial role in design verification and validation, process development for new products, and performing process validations. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of developing documentation while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Draft process plans and convert tooling drawings and build concepts into formal Assembly Procedures.

    + Develop Work Instructions, Test Procedures, Travelers, and Process Aids to support the process.

    + Manage builds for new product introduction in prototype and pilot production settings, including operator training and coordination with production planning.

    + Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to gain process buy-in.

    + Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to tooling and processes.

    + Assist the R&D team with Design Verification testing and reports.

    + Perform Process Validations for newly developed processes for product launch.

    + Conduct Packaging Validations for new product launch.

    + Contribute to developing Receiving Inspection, First Article Inspection, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) setup.

    + Assist in ATE troubleshooting and sustaining processes.

    + Participate in developing process Failure Mode Effects Analyses (pFMEAs) with the Manufacturing Engineering team.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with manufacturing process development for medical devices, preferably implantable.

    + Ability to qualify tools and execute testing and reports (V&V).

    + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing to develop and sustain processes and tools.

    + Bachelor's degree in a major science discipline.

    + Understanding of design verification and process validation, including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.

    + Proficiency in reading drawings and BOMs to understand tolerance stack-ups and identify assembly issues.

    + Familiarity with statistical concepts, sample sizes, and Design of Experiments (DOE).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + SolidWorks CAD capabilities.

    + Experience with NPI challenges.

    Work Environment

    This is an onsite, fast-paced startup-like environment with an office setup.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
