Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in the electrical power transmission, control, and distribution industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and releasing electrical drawings, supporting production processes, and ensuring our projects meet all technical requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Create and release electrical drawings per industry standards and specifications.

+ Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production.

+ Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval.

+ Support production during the assembly and wiring process.

+ Create electrical bill of materials and log data in the manufacturing database.

+ Ensure that projects meet the requirements of any existing equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a minimum of 4 years of medium voltage experience.

+ At least 3 years of experience in medium voltage systems, wiring design, and electrical drafting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the power industry is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a newer facility, built in 2010, which has undergone recent renovations. The environment is very clean, safe, well-lit, and organized, with climate control. The standard shift consists of four 10-hour days, with the possibility of working on Fridays if necessary. The role is hands-on, particularly during the initial training period, which can last up to a year. The company is focused on long-term growth and is not interested in consulting arrangements. The facility supports various sectors including utilities, data centers, industrial automation, renewable energy, and commercial facilities, with projects extending through 2028.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $41.00/hr.
