    Job Title: Design Project ManagerJob Description

     

    The Design Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, scheduling, and execution of projects within the Healthcare, Industrial, and Commercial building development sectors.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage the design phase of various projects.

    + Generate financials including earned value, man hours, and staffing requirements.

    + Track project progress, fully understanding scope, budget, and performance.

    + Plan, schedule, and conduct internal and external project meetings with high-level communication.

    + Maintain client-facing interactions and manage technical projects as well as financials.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-10 years of project management experience.

    + Proficiency in design and engineering disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, and process engineering.

    + Experience with estimating, hours tracking, manpower management, and earned value tracking.

    + Self-sufficiency and proven ability to manage technical projects.

    + Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Sketch, and BIM.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Exposure to Revit, Navisworks, and similar tools.

    + Background in Mechanical and Process engineering is ideal.

    + Experience in consulting or owner's background can be beneficial.

    + Business development skills including attending networking events.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves client-facing responsibilities and managing the design phase of projects. The role requires high-level communication skills and the ability to plan and execute project meetings. The position may involve the use of various design and engineering software tools.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

     

    Full range of benefits with 4 weeks PTO. Hybrid schedule 3 days on 2 days remote.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a hybrid position in Jacksonville,FL.
