Medical Assistant (MA)

Schedule: Weekdays, occasional Saturdays

About the Role

A well-established specialty clinic is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join its patient care team. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support providers in delivering high-quality, personalized care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Room patients and record vital signs, medical history, and current medications

+ Administer allergy injections and assist with skin testing procedures

+ Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and clinical areas

+ Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR system

+ Provide patient education and follow-up instructions

+ Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling

+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols

+ Work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to support patient care

Qualifications

+ Must have experience drawing blood

+ Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred

+ Experience in outpatient or specialty care settings a plus

+ Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation

+ Strong communication and multitasking skills

+ CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
