    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Party Chief to join our team. This role is ideal for a surveyor with a strong background in surveying, outside of the oil and gas industry, and for CAD technicians who are knowledgeable in plot plan designs, survey equipment, and survey standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct boundary and construction staking surveys, as well as ALTA surveys.

    + Utilize survey equipment and software to perform topographic and land surveys.

    + Lead and manage a one-person survey crew effectively.

    + Ensure compliance with survey standards and maintain accurate records.

    + Transition into more office-based work over the next few years, if desired.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of survey experience.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + Ability to work independently and manage one-person crews.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience as a Party Chief for 2-3 years.

    + Willingness to learn new software if only experienced with Trimble.

    + Interest in residential and land development projects.

    Work Environment

    This position operates within an office environment in Colorado, working with a team of eight. Fieldwork requires direct reporting to project sites. Employees are provided a company vehicle and gas card. A guaranteed 40 hours per week is offered, even in winter months, with opportunities for CAD training.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
