Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled mechanic to join our team. The role involves maintaining facility equipment and utilities, ensuring all maintenance work is conducted in accordance with site Standard Operating Procedures. You will document maintenance activities using the site Work Order process and equipment-specific logbooks.
**Wage** : Up to $35
Responsibilities
+ Conduct maintenance work in accordance with site Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Maintain facility equipment and utilities.
+ Document maintenance activities using site Work Order process and equipment-specific logbooks.
+ Diagnose problems with equipment and make necessary repairs.
+ Complete assigned PM tasks listed in Master PM Schedule.
+ Maintain utilities environmental equipment that supports Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D, and Office area.
+ Utilize PPE, follow Lockout Tagout procedures, OSHA standards, NEC, NFPA, etc. when performing required maintenance.
+ Provide oversight and supervision of outside contractors.
+ Follow cGMP procedures established by the site such as Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, etc.
+ Write equipment procedures/forms as needed.
+ Maintain Work Orders/Documentation in Equipment History Files.
+ Write Purchase Orders in PO System as needed.
+ Provide on-call services when scheduled.
+ Maintain gowning qualified for work within Manufacturing Clean Rooms.

+ Basic computer skills
+ Ability to lift/carry 30 lbs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate or technical degree/certification or appropriate OTG training
+ 3+ years’ experience performing preventive maintenance/repairs of Utility equipment
+ Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred

Work Environment
Work in a clean and climate-controlled facility. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential changes to a 4x10 shift schedule next year. Candidates must be comfortable with the following shifts: Shift 1 (Sun-Tue 7 AM-6 PM, Wed 7 AM-2 PM or 11 AM-6 PM) or Shift 2 (Wed 7 AM-2 PM or 11 AM-6 PM, Thu-Sat 7 AM-6 PM).

This is a Permanent position based out of Winston Salem, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
