    Mechanical/Electrical Technician/Assembler

    **Shifts Available:** 1st & 2nd Shift

     

    About the Role

     

    Join a team that builds cutting-edge industrial machinery! We’re looking for a **Mechanical/Electrical Technician** who thrives on precision and problem-solving. In this role, you’ll assemble complex equipment using blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation—all while ensuring safety and quality at every step.

    What You’ll Do

    + Assemble mechanical and electrical components following blueprints and schematics.

    + Safely operate tack welders, stud guns, and rigging equipment.

    + Perform layout work: measure, mark, and set equipment per drawings.

    + Identify and install major components (gauges, solenoids, valves, fittings).

    + Handle piping and hosing: cut, thread, grease, and prepare for assembly.

    + Build pumping system skids and heat treat furnaces with precision.

    + Maintain accurate daily labor reports.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.

    + Experience with wiring, panel mounting, and electrical testing.

    + Comfortable operating forklifts, hand trucks, and rigging tools.

    + Knowledge of industrial components and safe work practices.

    Work Schedule

    + **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (currently 10-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

    + **2nd Shift:** 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (currently 10-hour shifts: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM)

    + Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

    + **_Flexibility required for training and union-based shift changes._**

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Valley, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.51 - $22.51/hr.
