    Job Title: Intermediate Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Intermediate Machine Operator who will work hands-on, running and loading machines in a food manufacturing environment. After a training period, you will be fully in charge of operating machines that manufacture various food products. The role requires adherence to strict food safety standards, including wearing appropriate PPE such as hairnets and beard nets, and prohibits any jewelry.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and oversee machine functions in a food manufacturing setting.

    + Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain machines beyond basic button pressing.

    + Handle machine loading efficiently and effectively.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety and food production standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation is required; specifically in food manufacturing is a plus.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and setting up machines.

    + Ability to learn and understand all aspects of machine operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with food manufacturers is a significant advantage.

    + Capability to manage shift responsibilities independently.

    + Flexibility to bid for shift changes based on seniority after a six-month period.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is a clean, climate-controlled food production environment. Two shifts are available: C Shift (Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Wed) and D Shift (Thurs, Fri, Sat, every other Wed). The dress code requires full compliance with food safety standards, including wearing specified PPE and no jewelry.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Independence, MO.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $46800.00 - $49400.00/yr.

     

    Company offers full medical, dental, and vision insurance. Pay reviews are completed annually. Climate controlled facility.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Independence,MO.
