    Job Title: CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer

    Job Description

    Join a leading Aerospace/Commercial Machine shop as a CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer. You will be responsible for operating CNC and manual lathes, ensuring production parts meet specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC and manual lathes to run production parts.

    + Walk between machines, load/unload parts, and ensure jobs meet specifications.

    + Monitor and adjust machine settings based on part requirements.

    + Use measuring tools to check tolerances and ensure quality.

    + Run programs and tools efficiently and in a timely manner.

    + Maintain detailed attention to part quality and job timing.

    + Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving in daily tasks.

    + Operate and maintain CNC Machines.

    + Set-up lathing machines.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using CNC mills and manual lathes.

    + Experience with blueprint reading and machining.

    + Ability to program CNC machines and operate CMM programming.

    + Experience with Mastercam and tooling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in English (reading and verbal communication).

    + Skilled in using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

    + Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience.

    + Basic CNC lathe and milling experience preferred.

    + Ability to work independently and manage job flow.

    + Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

    + Experience with editing G Code and M Code.

    + Manual mill and lathe experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a loud and organized environment with sectioned-off areas. The dress code includes jeans without holes, a T-shirt, PPE provided by the company, and steel-toed boots. This is a fast-paced, hands-on machining environment where performance is measured by job completion time and material efficiency. It offers a direct hire with long-term growth potential and access to benefits after 90 days.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Petaluma, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
