Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

This entry-level crane/forklift position requires individuals who are reliable and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The role involves working on your feet for 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

+ Work collaboratively with the team to move materials through the shop and set up presses and drills.

+ Operate an overhead crane to handle materials safely.

+ Operate a forklift to manage materials efficiently.

+ Prepare products by working from order sheets.

+ Stage and set up shipments for incoming and outbound deliveries.

Essential Skills

+ Reliable with verified references.

+ Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours per day.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Experience in crane operation and forklift handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6 months experience in overhead crane operation.

+ Knowledge of inventory management.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, with moderate noise levels from crane breaks and metal grinding. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors as needed. Shifts are available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:30 PM to midnight.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ambridge, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
