Pay:** **$44.47/hr + $3.00 differential for night shift
Shift** **: 1st or 3rd shift available
Job Description:
As an E & I Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment. You’ll work extensively with Allen Bradley PLC systems to troubleshoot, edit programs, and perform electrical repairs, while supporting plant-wide operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment.
+ Work with Allen Bradley PLC systems for troubleshooting, program editing, and electrical repairs.
+ Operate and troubleshoot power distribution, Studio5000/Logix5000 hardware and software, drives, and motion control systems.
+ Handle FactoryTalk ME & SE, Ethernet/IP Control Network, and food manufacturing instrumentation.
+ Perform equipment changeovers and sanitation activities in compliance with GMP standards.
+ Improve and modify preventative maintenance activities as needed.
+ Maintain and properly operate electrical testing equipment.
+ Utilize drawings, prints, and manuals for equipment maintenance and repairs.
+ Coach and mentor technicians to build skills and knowledge.
+ Create documentation such as SOPs, Job Aids, and PM improvements.
+ Input and maintain accurate records and data using computer systems.
+ Maintain an electronic database of repair and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with electrical systems, PLCs, motor/motion controls, SCADA, and instrumentation equipment in manufacturing.
+ Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and practices.
+ Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting, program editing, and maintenance.
+ Hands-on experience with electrical systems up to 480V.
+ Knowledge of VFDs and motor controls.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and troubleshooting electrical systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Understanding of PLC programming, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $92497.00 - $97760.00/yr.
