Job Description

This is a fundamental role focused on packaging, shipping, and receiving responsibilities. The position involves packaging boxes with delicate and large items, ensuring they are bubble-wrapped and secured to prevent damage during transport. Additional duties include moving boxes, reading order sheets, pulling supplies for customers, organizing the warehouse, and tracking inventory.

Responsibilities

+ Package boxes with delicate and large items using bubble wrap to prevent damage.

+ Move boxes and read order sheets accurately.

+ Pull supplies for customers and organize warehouse inventory.

+ Track incoming and outgoing inventory efficiently.

+ Perform basic shipping and receiving duties using UPS and FedEx systems.

+ Ensure timely recording and dispatch of inventory items.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with RF scanning for inventory management.

+ Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.

+ Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems.

+ Basic computer skills for inventory data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

+ Experience in packaging materials and products.

+ Experience in tracking inventory and performing cycle counts.

+ Stand-up forklift experience is a plus but not necessary.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is basic yet fast-paced and upbeat, with an average of 10-15 employees. The facility is clean and organized, with warehouse and assembly departments. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, with hours varying based on business needs and some required overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
