Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance activities such as **lubricating, measuring wear, repositioning components** , and **observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.**

+ Conduct emergency or breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.

+ Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.

+ Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.

+ Use measurement and test equipment accurately.

+ Perform **electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations** as needed.

+ Safely operate the boiler and maintain adequate operating steam pressure (> 180 PSI).

Essential Skills

+ **5+ years of experience in maintenance roles.**

+ Electrical inclination with experience in swapping motors and troubleshooting.

+ Experience with Frequency Drives (VFDs).

+ PLC logic lookup and troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, including German prints.

+ Experience working with 480 volt systems.

+ Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems (boilers).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

+ Accurate use and reading of various measuring devices.

+ Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills.

+ Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a team member.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69784.00 - $69784.00/yr.
