Schedule: Monday- Saturdays 6am- Done (Working about 50-60 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team inspection airplane interiors. The ideal candidate will have experience in QC inspections, with proficiency in using calipers and micrometers, and the ability to read blueprints. The role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections on aviation parts from details to top assemblies.

Responsibilities

+ Perform visual and dimensional inspections for Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aviation parts.

+ Understand and apply visual and cosmetic standards.

+ Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.

+ Write inspection and nonconformance reports.

+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

+ Review supplier certifications for conformance to requirements.

+ Collect data for statistical analysis.

+ Interpret tolerances and use precision measuring instruments for mechanical inspections.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

+ Experience with QC inspections.

+ Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.

+ Understanding of geometrical and positional tolerance requirements.

+ High School Diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.

The work environment is a very large, clean manufacturing facility where products for the interiors of Boeing 737 aircrafts are manufactured, including galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
