    Job Overview

     

    We are looking for a reliable **Facilities Grounds & Maintenance Associate** to join our team on the **1st shift.** In this role, you will oversee the upkeep of outdoor and indoor areas across two locations. Primary responsibilities include lawn care (mowing, weeding, trimming), snow plowing and sidewalk clearing during winter, and general facility support such as waste removal and machine coolant refills. You’ll also assist with other maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain lawns and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and weeding

    + Safely operate a zero-turn lawn mower

    + Perform snow plowing for parking lots and clear sidewalks during winter months

    + Empty facility garbage bins on a routine basis

    + Refill coolant in machines as required

    + Support additional facility and grounds tasks as assigned

    Essential Skills

    + Hands-on experience with lawn care and snow removal

    + Skilled in operating zero-turn lawn mowers

    + Strong general labor and maintenance abilities

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience with snow plow equipment

    + Ability to handle a variety of general labor duties

    + Familiarity with landscaping practices such as mowing and weeding

    Work Environment

    + 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (optional Fridays)

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
